Cross My Heart Vest

There’s nothing to which a cute cropped vest can’t add some serious style. This sweet vest sewing pattern will address all your vest needs whether it’s another light layer in warm months or a chest warmer in the cool months.

Designed and sized for heavy weight fabrics, then sized down for lighter weight fabrics, your little one will want one of these simple vests every which way.  We love vintage blankets for their array of colours but fake furs, felted jumpers, fleeces of all kinds, all the way down to lightweight quilting cotton will suit this vest perfectly. It can even be made reversible with the addition of a button on each side of the narrow front panel.

If buttons and buttonholes give you the willies, try press studs with a button sewn on the right side of the fabric (totally not cheating!) or snaps.

Our wonderful customers love this simple vest, sayingI love this pattern and have already made two vests with it. It sews up quickly and the instructions are very easy to follow. Thank you!
